Guides and answers for creating, billing, your library and your account. Can’t find what you need? Our team replies by email.

Getting started

Your first creation in a couple of minutes.

What is Cliplume?

Cliplume is an AI creative studio. You can make videos, creator-style UGC and product ads, images, and music from a description, then extend, insert into, caption or translate your videos.

How do I create my first video?

Open Create, choose Video, describe what you want, pick the length and quality, and press Generate. You see the credit cost before you start. Your result appears in your library when it is ready, and you can download it.

Do I need to be signed in?

Yes. You need an account to create, so your creations, credits and billing stay in one place. You can sign in with your email or with Google.

What should I write in a prompt?

Describe who or what is in the scene, what happens, where it is, and how it should feel or look. Concrete details such as lighting, camera movement and mood work better than adjectives alone. You can also upload a reference image to guide the result.

How long does a generation take?

Images are usually quick; video and music take longer, from under a minute to several minutes depending on length, quality and how busy the service is. You can leave the page: the creation keeps going and shows up in your library.

Is there an app?

Cliplume runs in your browser on desktop and mobile, so there is nothing to install.

Tools and features

What each tool does and how to get the best result.

What is Ad Studio?

Ad Studio makes product ads and UGC-style videos. Pick Talking for a person speaking to camera, or Commercial for a storyboarded product ad. Add a product photo and, if you like, a character photo, and describe the pitch.

What are Extend, Insert, Auto Subtitles and Video Translation?

Extend continues a clip past its end. Insert adds a new scene into a video. Auto Subtitles adds captions. Video Translation re-voices a video in another language. Open any of them from the Tools menu in Create.

What can I do with Image?

Generate images from a description or edit an existing image with instructions. Choose the quality you need, and higher resolutions cost more credits.

What does Music create?

A song from your description, with a title and cover art. You can download it as MP3 or as a video, and read the lyrics.

What is Recast?

Recast swaps the performer in a video for another person. It needs the consent of everyone shown. See our Terms before using it.

Why was my request blocked?

Cliplume refuses requests that break our rules, such as sexual content, content involving minors, real people shown without consent, or other harmful material. A safe request can occasionally be blocked by mistake: rephrase it, and write to support if it keeps happening. Credits for blocked requests are not charged.

The result is not what I wanted. What now?

Make the prompt more specific, name what you want to avoid, try a different aspect ratio or style, or add a reference image. Small prompt changes can change results a lot, so try a few variations.

Credits and billing

Plans, how credits are used, and how to manage your subscription.

How do credits work?

Each paid month gives you a set number of credits. Every generation shows its cost before you start, and the final charge reflects what was actually used. Longer, higher-quality or higher-resolution outputs cost more.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. Credits reset at each monthly renewal, so use them within the month.

What happens if a generation fails?

If it fails on our side or a provider’s, or is stopped by a safety check, the credits held for it are released or returned automatically. Contact support if you do not see them back.

How do I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?

Go to Billing. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period. Cancel anytime and keep your access until the period ends.

Can I get a refund?

Spent credits are generally not refundable, but we review duplicate or unauthorized charges, renewals after a timely cancellation, and faults that stopped you using what you paid for. Email support@cliplume.com within 14 days of the charge. See the Refunds section of our Terms.

Which payment methods are accepted?

The payment methods shown at checkout, processed securely by our payment partner. Cliplume never sees or stores your full card number.

My payment failed. What should I do?

Check that your card has funds and is enabled for online payments, then try again or use another method. If the problem continues, email support@cliplume.com with the time of the attempt.

Where can I find invoices?

Billing shows your plan and payment history, and your payment partner emails you a receipt for each payment. Write to support if you need a copy or a change to billing details.

Your library and files

Downloads, storage and what happens to your creations.

How long are my creations kept?

Creations are kept while your account is active and are removed automatically after a period of no activity (currently 14 days). Download anything you want to keep.

How do I download or delete a creation?

Open the creation in your library to download it, or use the delete option to remove it and its files.

Who owns what I create?

You keep the rights you have in your inputs, and we assign you our rights in the outputs, subject to our Terms and third-party rights. You are responsible for how you use them, including in advertising.

Can I use my creations commercially?

Yes, in line with our Terms. Make sure you have the rights to anything you upload, and consent from any real person shown.

What file types can I upload?

Common image formats (JPG, PNG, WebP) and video (MP4, MOV), as each tool shows when you add a file. Very large files may be refused; if an upload fails, try a smaller file.

Account and privacy

Sign-in, security and your data.

I cannot sign in.

Check the email you used, try the sign-in method you originally chose (email or Google), and reset your password if needed. If you still cannot get in, email support@cliplume.com from the address on the account.

How do I change my email or delete my account?

Manage your profile in Settings. To delete your account and its data, use Settings or email support@cliplume.com from your account address.

Is my content private?

Your creations are private to your account unless you choose to share them. Your inputs are sent to the providers that generate your result, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your private content to train models we offer to others.

How can I export or delete my personal data?

Email support@cliplume.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We handle access, correction, deletion and portability requests as the law requires.

Is Cliplume for children?

No. Cliplume is for adults aged 18 and over. Parents who believe a child has an account should write to us right away. See our Child Safety policy.

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common problems.

My generation is stuck or taking very long.

At busy times jobs wait in a queue. Give it a few minutes and refresh your library. Jobs that stall are retried automatically, and if one fails the credits are returned. If it is still stuck after 30 minutes, email support with the creation link.

The video or audio will not play or download.

Refresh the page, try another browser, and make sure you are online. On mobile, open the creation page and use the download button instead of long-pressing the player.

The page looks broken or does not load.

Hard-refresh the page, update your browser, disable extensions that block scripts for a moment, and try a private window. Tell us your browser, device and what you saw.

I was charged but have no credits.

Credits arrive within a minute or two of a successful payment. Refresh Billing. If they are still missing, email support@cliplume.com with your account email and the receipt.

A result contains something wrong or unsafe.

Report it with the creation link at support@cliplume.com. For anything involving children, use the Child Safety report option on our Child Safety page.

Still need help?

Email support@cliplume.com and a person will reply. Include your account email and, for a creation, its link. See our Support page.
