Child Safety Policy

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation: our rules, our safeguards, and how to report a concern.

Last updated October 17, 2026

Cliplume has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This policy sets out the rules that apply to everyone on the Service, the safeguards we build in, how we handle reports, and how to reach us. It is part of our Terms of Service.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. To report suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) you found anywhere online, use your national hotline, for example the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) in the United States, the Internet Watch Foundation (report.iwf.org.uk) in the UK, or INHOPE member hotlines (inhope.org) worldwide.

1.Our commitment

We design, operate and moderate Cliplume to prevent it from being used to harm children. We treat child safety as a core product requirement, not an afterthought, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement and child-protection organizations.

2.What is strictly prohibited

You must never use Cliplume to create, upload, request, edit, share or attempt to obtain any of the following, whether real, AI-generated, animated, illustrated or fictional, and no matter how the request is worded or framed:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized depiction of a person who is or appears to be under 18;
  • sexual or suggestive content involving minors, including nudity, sexualized poses, clothing or behavior, or a minor in a sexualized context;
  • content that grooms, sexually exploits, traffics, sextorts, bullies or harasses a minor, or that provides instructions for doing so;
  • the face, body or voice of a real child in any intimate, sexual, humiliating, dangerous or deceptive context, or an attempt to “age” or “de-age” a person to a minor for such purposes;
  • content that promotes, normalizes or glorifies child abuse, or that facilitates contact with children for harmful purposes; and
  • attempts to bypass our safeguards, including coded language, indirect descriptions, image-to-image tricks and repeated rewording.

Depicting minors in an ordinary, clothed, age-appropriate and non-sexual context (such as a family at a picnic) is not itself prohibited, but real children’s likeness must only be used with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and our safeguards may restrict some depictions of minors altogether.

3.Age requirement

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not offer accounts to minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use Cliplume. If we find or are told that an account belongs to a minor, we will suspend and delete it, and delete the associated data except where the law requires us to keep records.

For parents and guardians: if you think your child has created an account or provided information to us, email support@cliplume.com with the subject “Child account” and we will act promptly. We also recommend using the parental controls and filters available on your child’s devices and networks.

4.How we prevent harm

  • Safety screening on every request: requests and uploads are checked by automated systems before generation, and outputs can be checked afterwards. Requests that appear to involve sexualized minors are refused, and the attempt is recorded.
  • Built-in rules: our models are directed by safety policy to keep people appropriately clothed and to avoid sexual content altogether, and we block nudity and explicit content across the Service.
  • Likeness controls: features that use a real person’s photo or voice require the consent of the person shown, and we restrict their use on images that appear to depict minors.
  • Enforcement: accounts that attempt to create prohibited content are suspended or terminated, credits are forfeited, and apparent violations are escalated for human review.
  • Training and review: staff who review flagged content are trained to handle it safely and lawfully.
  • Continuous improvement: we review incidents, refine our systems and stay informed by industry guidance and child-safety experts.

No automated system is perfect. If you see something that should not be there, please tell us.

5.How to report

Report a concern about Cliplume content, an account, or an attempt to misuse the Service by emailing support@cliplume.com with the subject “Child safety report”. Please include, where you can: what happened, links or creation identifiers, the account involved, and how to contact you. Do not attach, forward or save any suspected CSAM, because possessing or sharing it is illegal in most places; describe it or point us to where it is instead.

We treat these reports as the highest priority and review them as soon as possible, with the aim of acting on credible reports within 24 hours. You can report anonymously; if you give your contact details, we may follow up. We will not retaliate against anyone who reports in good faith.

6.What we do when we find a violation

  • Remove and block: we remove the content, restrict or terminate the account and block related access.
  • Preserve evidence: we preserve the relevant data in a secure way, as the law requires, and limit access to it.
  • Report to the authorities: we report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the competent bodies, such as the NCMEC CyberTipline in the US and equivalent agencies elsewhere, as required by law.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement: we respond to valid legal requests and assist investigations.
  • Learn and improve: we analyze how the attempt got through and strengthen our defenses.

We do not notify an account holder where doing so could compromise an investigation or put a child at risk.

7.Legal compliance

We aim to comply with child-protection laws that apply to us, including reporting obligations for apparent CSAM and obligations on online services to address illegal content. Creating or sharing sexual content involving minors is a serious crime in almost every country, and offenders may be prosecuted regardless of whether the content is AI-generated.

8.Resources for young people and families

  • If you are a young person and something online makes you feel unsafe or pressured, talk to a trusted adult. In the US, Take It Down (takeitdown.ncmec.org) can help remove nude or sexual images shared of you when you were under 18.
  • UK: Childline (0800 1111, childline.org.uk). US: NCMEC (missingkids.org). Worldwide hotlines: INHOPE (inhope.org).
  • If you are worried about your own thoughts or behavior toward children, confidential help is available, for example through Stop It Now (stopitnow.org).

9.Contact
