Cookie Policy

The few cookies we use, what they are for, and how to control them.

Last updated October 17, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Cliplume uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local and session storage, work the same way for our purposes. They let a site remember you between pages and visits, keep you signed in, and measure how it is used.

2.What we use them for

Strictly necessary

  • Sign-in and session: our authentication provider sets cookies that keep you signed in and protect your account and sessions from forgery and abuse.
  • Security and reliability: cookies and tokens that help protect against bots and fraud, balance load and keep checkout and generation flows working.
  • Your settings: remembering choices such as the options you picked in a tool or a draft you have not finished, stored in your browser’s local or session storage.

These are needed to deliver the Service you asked for, so they do not need your consent and cannot be turned off in our systems (you can block them in your browser, but parts of the Service will stop working).

Analytics and performance

  • Product analytics: we measure page views and key actions (for example, that a generation was started) to understand what works and fix problems. We keep this light: automatic click capture and session recording are off, and visitor profiles are created only for people who are signed in.

Where the law requires your consent for analytics, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.

What we do not do

  • We do not run third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • We do not sell or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3.Third parties

Some cookies are set by providers that work for us, such as our authentication provider, our payment processor on the checkout page, and our analytics provider. They are bound by agreements limiting their use of the data, and their own privacy and cookie notices also apply to what they collect.

4.Your choices

  • Browser settings: most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies. Look under privacy or site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and other features from working.
  • Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: we honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.
  • Clear local storage: deleting site data in your browser removes saved preferences and drafts.
  • Analytics: contact us at support@cliplume.com to opt out of analytics tied to your account.

5.Changes and contact

We may update this policy when we change how we use cookies, and will change the date above. Questions: support@cliplume.com.
